Working from home while managing a family is one of the most significant challenges modern parents face. The blurred lines between professional responsibilities and parental duties can lead to burnout if not managed intentionally.

Here are three tools to help you reclaim your sanity:

The Physical Boundary

Establish a dedicated workspace. It doesn't have to be a separate office, but it must be a space where your brain knows it's time to work.

Time Blocking

Instead of trying to multitask, which often reduces efficiency, dedicate 45-minute blocks to deep work, followed by 15 minutes of family time or household chores.

Radical Transparency

Communication with your employer is key. Be transparent about your availability. Most leaders appreciate honesty and clear expectations over missed deadlines and excuses.

Remember, you are modeling behavior for your children and your colleagues.
